Nathan Engel
Nate started his fabrication career after earning a degree from UTI in automotive technology and repair. After being accepted into BMW Master Tech program, he decided to pursue instead a career in the off-road vehicle fabrication industry. At RAW Motorsports Nate moved from fabricator to shop manager. While there he helped RAW Motorsports build production long travel sand cars, as well as modifying and repairing of on and off-road race cars.
Between RAW and SPD Nate worked as a sub-contractor for PFLEUGER Racing, fabricating chase racks, and a fixture table. While at SPD Products, Nate was the head fabricator and a machine operator. Nate built trophy trucks, Dakar rally cars, and NASA prototype Moon Rovers. Nate's stay at Desert Works as a head fabricator found him designing and building a class 7200 race truck, VW Manx, as well as race prep on multiple vehicles. While at BRENTHEL Industries, Nate was head fabricator. His duties included fabrication of pre-runners and race vehicles. Nate's final stop before joining our team was RFS Racing, where he was team manager and head fabricator. BurkeBuilt Motorsports is excited to add Nate and his 10+ years of education and experience to our team.
